علاوه بر دستگاه حفاری آبان 5 دستگاه حفاری شهید رجایی شركت ملی حفاری ایران نیز در عملیات حفاری در فاز 14 میدان گازی پارس جنویی مشاركت دارد.

حفاری در فاز 14 از هفدهم آذرماه گذشته با استقرار یك دستگاه حفاری این شركت كلید خورد و حفاری نخستین حلقه چاه توصیفی هم اكنون با 80 درصد پیشرفت به مراحل پایان كار نزدیك می شود.

با انجام حفاری دو حلقه چاه توصیفی و نصب دو دستگاه جكت، عملیات حفاری 20 حلقه چاه توسعه ای در این فاز آغاز خواهد شد و در اجرای این پروژه، تامین دستگاه حفاری، مهندسی، خدمات فنی، تامین كالا و مواد و پشتیبانی به طور كامل به عهده شركت ملی حفاری ایران است.

فاز 14 پارس جنوبی به روش تامین مالی فاینانس با برآورد مالی اولیه پنج میلیارد و 249 میلیون دلار از سوی كنسرسیومی متشكل از هشت شركت پیمانكار و سازنده ایرانی در منطقه پارس 2 ( پارس كنگان) در دست اجراست.

این فاز با هدف تولید روزانه 50 میلیون مترمكعب گاز شیرین، 75 هزار بشكه میعانات گازی، تولید سالانه یك میلیون و 50 تن گاز مایع، یك میلیون تن اتان به منظور تامین خوراك واحدهای پتروشیمی و تولید روزانه 400 تن گوگرد طراحی شده و در اجرای آن 44 حلقه چاه توصیفی و توسعه ای حفاری می شود كه حفاری 22 حلقه آن بر عهده شركت ملی حفاری ایران است. ك/1
